Overall Thoughts:
I read The Perfect Marriage last year, so in reading the sequel, The Perfect Divorce, I was able to remember more details of the first book. I love Jeneva Rose’s writing and books, however I enjoyed the the first book more than the second and in a lot of ways, I would have been fine with the sort of cliffhanger way book one ended. All that to say this is a really good book series with an intriguing concept.
I really appreciated the main character Sarah who was just this crazy, unhinged lawyer contrasted with her husband who was this kind of lonely, sad author who in waiting for his next big break was having an affair. This book had a lot of layers, lawyer jargon, plot twists and ultimately, it’s a cat and mouse renaissance of husband versus wife—who will win?
